Afternoon tea was introduced in England in 1840 by the seventh Duchess of Bedford, The Duchess would find herself hungry by mid-afternoon as the evening meal in her household was served fashionably late at eight o’clock.

With years of pastry experience behind us we have done a great many Afternoon tea’s over the years with nothing more quintessentially English it embodies the pinnacle of Civilised dining.

Here at Westwood’s we can provide the experience anywhere you wish and its absolutely the perfect way to celebrate anything, we can design a menu to include everything with a selection of Devonshire Scones, Staffordshire Strawberry Jam and the finest Cornish clotted cream.

A handmade selection of miniature cakes and desserts, and of course plenty of soft sandwiches with a multitude of fillings, all served on vintage cake stands with a selection of tea’s and coffee for you and your guests to enjoy.
